Day 4 Fanny Cove
Monday, 21st December 2015
We spent most of today just relaxing and taking in the lovely coastal sights. There’s so much insect and plant life out here that you don’t get or see in suburbia. Later we repacked the car ready for our departure tomorrow.
We are 4 days away from the Full Moon and tonight we saw the Waxing Gibbous Moon ( 3/4 moon ). Waxing means the moon’s illumination is expanding and Gibbous means the moon is more than 1/2 illuminated. The moon rose at 2.56PM and the sun was due to set at 7.22PM. By 7.37PM the sky had darkened enough for us to get a photo of the moon as it shone over our camp.
